Still shocked upon discovering that Billy (Liza Soberano) is the woman who saved his life, Gabo (Enrique Gil) finds it hard to focus and inadvertently strains his relationship with Rio (Katarina Rodriguez). Heeding his aunt’s (Pokwang) suggestion to put his troubled feelings into words, he recalls the harrowing story behind his sudden departure from Croatia. Following her reconnection with Gabo for Pusong Dimagiba-Tinapay Corner partnership, Billy begins to hope for something more. Later, Sputnik (Khalil Ramos) asks Billy for a demanding favor.
Sputnik worries for Billy upon learning that the Villaricas will be attending Mr. Vergara’s party. Despite knowing that Gabo will be present in the said event, Billy remains confident and refuses to let her feelings get in the way of granting her friend’s request. However, the young Dimagiba’s confidence descends when she witnesses an unexpected sight.
Billy gets hit by a crushing realization when she gets a glimpse of Gabo and Rio’s committed relationship during Mr. Vergara’s party. As her heart gets broken twice by the same man, she arrives at a decision regarding her feelings for the young Villarica. Meanwhile, a woman from Gabo’s past reaches out to his aunt.
