Billy (Liza Soberano) receives an enticing offer from Ted (Ian Veneracion) involving Tinapay Corner. Despite the businessman’s attempts to gain her and her loved ones’ favor, the young Dimagiba remains firm in her decision to pursue her scholarship in Paris. However, a series of unfortunate events complicates things and forces her to reconsider. Unable to contain his frustration upon hearing his father’s actions, Gabo (Enrique Gil) ends up having a heated argument with Rio (Katarina Rodriguez).
Billy (Liza Soberano) accepts Ted’s (Ian Veneracion) offer to be Tinapay Corner’s head of product development and gives up on her scholarship in Paris. After learning of Billy’s decision, a frustrated Gabo (Enrique Gil) hatches up a plan to prevent her from being part of the Villaricas’ company. The young Dimagiba confidently takes on Gabo’s challenge to prove that she is worthy of the position. Elsewhere, Rhamboy (Anthony Jennings) witnesses an unlikable sight that shatters his heart into pieces.
Despite Sputnik’s (Khalil Ramos) apprehensions, Billy (Liza Soberano) remains adamant in her decision to work for Tinapay Corner. Following her successful job interview, the young Dimagiba’s day ends on an even higher note when a beloved friend from Croatia gives her a surprise visit. However, a streak of misfortunes puts Billy at the receiving end of Gabo’s (Enrique Gil) ire on her first day at her new job. Elsewhere, Tony (Herbert Bautista) and Monsy (Hero Bautista) share nuggets of wisdom to the brokenhearted Rhamboy (Anthony Jennings) over late-night drinks.
